Invitational Car Show to Benefit the PVGP Charities
Hosted by Bentley Pittsburgh
Sunday, August 27, 2023

While we wrapped up the Grand Prix Race Week last Sunday, there is still much remaining in 2023. We have the 5 Card Garage Tour on August 20, the Bentley Invitational on August 27 and the PVGP Display at the Polo Matches on September 9. Followed by our Victory Lap event in November.

Bentley Pittsburgh has been a tremendous supporter of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Jason Moka and his team have hosted this intimate and exclusive car show to benefit the PVGP charities since 2019. This will be the fifth year that Bentley Pittsburgh has hosted this now annual event.

This is an invitation only show of special cars featuring Bentley, Rolls Royce and Maserati cars of all years, but you will see plenty of Ferraris, Porsches, BMWs, and others. Bentley clears their showroom and parking lot to make room for the car show. They also provide a delicious lunch for all attendees.

The Invitational has raised $60,000 for the PVGP charities. The show is a catered event and celebrates vehicles old, new, unique, and rare. An auction is also held inside the showroom which is full of PVGP memorabilia, local sports memorabilia, and donations from surrounding area businesses and restaurants. This is an excellent way to support charities and enjoy a Sunday afternoon toward the end of the driving season.

History

Jason Moka and his team have hosted this intimate and exclusive car show to benefit the PVGP charities since 2019 . This will be the fifth year that Bentley Pittsburgh has hosted this annual event that has raised $60,000 to provide residential care, treatment and support for autistic and intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals in our region.

The event started in 2019 and has grown significantly. In 2020 it represented the largest single fundraiser for the PVGP when our Race Week was cancelled. According to PVGP Executive Director Dan DelBianco “Bentley Pittsburgh started this show to benefit our charities in 2019 and it was a great inaugural event, but the effort they made and the result of staging the show in 2020 was monumental! It rekindled the spirit of the Pittsburgh car community and was a blessing to the PVGP and its charities. Rohrich Automotive Group sponsors the PVGP through its many dealers and the PVGP is blessed by their generosity. In the proceeding years the show continues to feature the finest automobiles and the amenities provided to attendees.

Jason Moka, Marketing Director for Rohrich Automotive Group was ecstatic about the success of the event saying “the show was a huge success and most importantly, the charities of the PVGP benefitted.  We plan on continuing this show annually.  We appreciate each and every person who brought their car or showed support.  We look forward to seeing you all again next month.”
