2025 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
Lotus Marque of the Year Show at Schenley Park – July 19/20 Weekend
The Marque of the Year Car Show is near the British Car Display on the Bob O’Connor Golf Course. Registration is for the entire weekend. Park your Lotus on the golf course in the middle of the International Car Show with a weekend view of the track.
Your $125 Entry Donation includes:
- Weekend Parking spot beside the British Car Display on the Golf Course.
- Entry into the Lotus of Pittsburgh Hospitality Tent all weekend.
- Each Lotus is automatically registered for the Opening Ceremony Parade Lap of the track on Sunday, July 20 at 10:30. You can start coming across the Greenfield Bridge and stage on Greenfield Road at 9:00 am. The Parade will enter the track at turn 1, take a lap and a half parade lap, and exit at the Westinghouse fountain.
- PVGP Race Program, PVGP Lotus poster and sticker.
- Two wristbands to enter the event and browse the International Car Show and the Start/Finish Line.

Vintage Racing in Schenley Park – July 19/20 Weekend
We have a strong representation of British racing legends racing through the stone-walled streets of Schenley Park, including the Lotus Seven, FJ18, 23, 51 and Elan. This is the only vintage street race in the country and represents one of the most challenging tracks anywhere.
We invite Lotus race drivers to participate. Applicants must have a competition license and be a member in good standing with a race-sanctioning organization. The PVGP will scrutinize cars that qualify within our Race Groups based on their respective vintage race organizations’ vehicle preparation and safety equipment rules. Visit our Eligible Car Page.
Evening of Speed VIP & Driver Reception & Parade – Friday, July 18
The traditional Friday night Driver Reception and Parade is moving into Oakland as our racers circle the track, past Phipps and down to the reception at the Frick Fine Arts Building in Schenley Plaza.
The event features a parade and display of the vintage race cars that competed over the weekend. There were displays, meet and greets, and insightful presentations, all set against the backdrop of the historic Frick Fine Arts Building beside Schenley Plaza.
Tickets will be available for the public to attend the private VIP Reception, and we welcome all Lotus owners to join the party in your car on the lawn. Registration for this event opens in January. Details
Grand Prix Garden Party at Phipps Conservatory – Thursday, July 17
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix planted the seeds for a fabulous new event in Schenley Park at the Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens alongside the race track. The party showcases a variety of cars and vehicles. Any registered Lotus owners will have other vars displayed in a special area on the lawn in front of Phipps.. This Garden Party features hors d’oeuvres, palate-pleasing food stations, wine, Helltown Beer and bar cocktails throughout one of the nation’s oldest and largest Victorian greenhouses. It promises to be an elegant and entertaining evening. Tickets are $295 per person. Details
Tune-Up @ SouthSide Works – Wednesday, July 16
The PVGP Tune-Up was started in 2006 and has become a highlight of our Race Week Car Shows.
Participation in this year’s Tune-Up Party is just $50. You get a reserved parking spot within the Automotive Showcase on the streets of the SouthSide Works, a goody bag, dash card, PVGP Race Program and car decal. Also included are two drink coupons for the driver, redeemable at one of the drink stations. You can also register any guests for $20 each to receive two complimentary drink coupons. Details
Downtown Car Display – Wednesday, July 16
If you work downtown, Wednesday of Race Week is a great day to take a long lunch break. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix hosts two distinct car displays in the Golden Triangle. Race cars and show cars form displays among the skyscrapers at downtown’s most prominent addresses in Market Square, and just 200 feet away is the display in PPG Place on the plaza surrounding the fountain. Any Lotus that registers will be given a preferential parking spot.
Online registration will open in 2025. The cost is only $15 per car to participate in the Downtown Plaza Display. All cars must stay in place until 1:45 pm and depart plazas by 2:00 pm. Details
Sewickley Stampede – Tuesday, July 15
Get ready for the Sewickley Stampede and RoundUp. It’s a street block party with race and exotic cars. Join us for an exclusive RoundUp at The Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina hosted by Robin Fernandez that will have you “Hootin’ and Hollerin’” for more.
The night begins with a RevLimiting, Rip Roarin’ Stampede Parade of Cars through the downtown business district of Sewickley, followed by the ‘Wrangling and Staging’ of cars in front of the hotel. Grab your best Pardner and come out to take in all the magnificent cars on the street, or purchase admission to the exclusive private party in The Hotel, featuring a light food menu, a cash bar, and live music.
The party begins at 6:00 PM at the Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina at 509 Beaver Street in Sewickley. Robin Fernandez is working on a special menu. Details
Walnut Street Car Show – Monday, July 14
Nestled on Shadyside’s charming Walnut Street, you will see 135 rare, classic and exotic cars the length of the street. This is a glimpse of what you will see that weekend at the PVGP International Car Show, which will occur a few days later. This popular long-running show features some of the region’s finest and most unique vehicles. Cars are carefully selected for the show by invitation only – so this promises to include show cars rarely seen at other car shows and cruises. The Marque of the Year is assigned 6 display spots – held for the most notable examples. Details
Lotus Gathering at Pitt Race – July 12/13 Weekend
Lotus of Pittsburgh plans to host a trackside hospitality tent for Lotus owners and fans of the British Racing Legend.
Your $50 Entry Donation includes:
- Single-day gate entry into the Pitt Race facility for two adults (children 12 and under are free).
- Additional adults are $25 each.
- Parking spot on the lawn overlooking the final turns of the race track.
- Entry into Lotus of Pittsburgh Hospitality Tent.
- The track offers food concessions and Helltown Beer nearby.

Historic Racing at Pittsburgh International Race Complex – July 11-13
Experience the heart-pounding thunder of the PVGP Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. If you are looking for speed, muscle and thunder, this is the place to be. Since 2004, racers from all over the country have come to the 2.8-mile purpose-built track 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh for fierce competition between the legends of the 60s and early 70s, including Mustangs, Corvettes, Jaguars, BMWs, Porsches and Alfa Romeos. We will have a strong representation of British racing legends on the race track, including the Lotus Seven, FJ18, 23, 51 and Elan.
See the cars and drivers in the expansive paddock and watch the races from several vantage points. Food/drink vendors and sponsors are located throughout the facility. Including Helltown Brewing, the “Official Beer of the PVGP.” That can be done if you feel the personal need for speed. For a donation to the charity, you can rent a kart and reach speeds up to 45 mph on the .82-mile karting track. Look for this event to grow in popularity and numbers in the coming years. Details
Blacktie & Tailpipes at Heinz History Center- Friday, July 11
Our Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala opens Grand Prix Race Week in formal style! This is a must for any auto enthusiast who enjoys shiny cars, fine dining and great company. In addition to being one of the city’s best summer parties, it is also a significant fundraiser for our charity partners.
We are excited to announce that the gala is making history in 2025 as we hold the event at the Heinz History Center in the Strip District. The PVGP will have access to the entire facility, and the new chair, Ev Kelly Searle, is planning a fabulous event. There will be a designated area for guests arriving in a Lotus. Details
Kick-Off Rallye – Sunday, July 6
If you like cars and country roads, this is a great way to spend a summer Sunday in your Lotus. The Rallye is a driving tour and a scavenger hunt rolled into one. This is a casual and fun event with no experience required.
Your $80 entry includes participation in the Rallye for driver and navigator. We’re starting and concluding in Houston, PA, at Dual Devils Garage with a special award for the top-finishing Lotus. Includes a deluxe cookout dinner and a great seasonal rotation of 17 Helltown Taproom craft beers. Tour their car exhibits and check out upcoming cars for auction in their showroom. Details
