Experience the heart-pounding thunder of the PVGP Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. If you are looking for speed, muscle and thunder, this is the place to be. Since 2004, racers from all over the country have come to the 2.8-mile purpose-built track 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh for fierce competition between the legends of the ’60s and early ’70s, including Mustangs, Corvettes, Jaguars, BMWs, Porsches and Alfa Romeos, to name a few.

See the cars and drivers in the expansive paddock and watch the races from several vantage points. Food/drink vendors and sponsors are located throughout the facility. Including Helltown Brewing, the “Official Beer of the PVGP.” That can be done if you feel the personal need for speed. For a donation to the charity, you can rent a kart and reach speeds up to 45 mph on the .82-mile karting track. Look for this event to grow in popularity and numbers in the coming years.

Pittsburgh International Race Complex is a 400-acre motorsports facility featuring a 2.8-mile road course with 19 corners and multiple elevation changes, an .83-mile-long Wilson Karting Track that is one of the fastest around, and a 6-acre skid pad for specialized training in performance and evasive driving maneuvers, including autocross and drifting. Pitt Race offers something for everyone.

The full road racing course at Pitt Race features 19 turns following the natural elevation of the landscape of Western, PA. These hills and valleys are highlighted in an 85-foot vertical elevation change between turns 3 and 6 along with numerous blind turns and 4 high-speed straight-aways. Pitt Race provides something for all styles of racing, from technical sections and turns where lines mean everything to areas where high horsepower cars can stretch their legs. Spectator Hill provides the perfect perch for watching some great racing, with a view of about 70% of the track.
