The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix’s signature Race Weekend in Schenley Park is fast becoming a destination for food lovers as well as car enthusiasts. Visitors are invited to join the festivities on July 19 and 20 and come hungry for an expanded menu of local favorites and new offerings.

Caliente Pizza

Caliente Pizza & Draft House returns as the title sponsor of the International Car Show for the third year, serving its award-winning pies in the Italian Cortile. Caliente’s classic cheese and pepperoni pizzas will be served, pairing nicely with the classic cars on display for spectators to enjoy.  In addition to fueling hungry spectators, Caliente proudly sponsors the #27 1964 Triumph Spitfire driven by Josh Hartman and is presenting the “King of the Hill” award for the Motul Panther Hollow Hillclimb.  For pizza connoisseurs, visit one of their local locations and check out Caliente’s PVGP namesake, the Motor City Madness Vintage Grand Prix Pizza—topped with fresh mozzarella, provolone, Cup and Char pepperoni, Italian sausage, peppers, ricotta, basil, and finished with Caliente Hot Honey to take home the checkered flag.

Medure Catering, a longtime partner, continues to elevate the culinary scene with the introduction of the Grand Prix Grill by Medure. Pete Medure and his team have catered the PVGP’s VIP tent since 2012 and are now expanding their service to the PVGP Food Court. Guests can expect fresh-off-the-grill specialties and regional favorites, served in a comfortable courtyard setting with umbrella tables and a front-row view of the Hillclimb racing action.

Other tasty options include Rita’s Italian Ice, which will operate two stands, and the Tambellini Food Truck, stationed on Flagstaff Hill overlooking the paddock. The recently renovated Schenley Park Café and Visitor Center, typically within the track’s footprint, will remain open, serving coffee, breakfast, and lunch just steps from the starting line.

Throughout the park, race fans can quench their thirst at beer stations serving Helltown, the Official Beer of the PVGP, as well as Yuengling, Truly Hard Seltzer, Twisted Tea, along with Core water and Keurig Dr Pepper soft drinks.

This year’s expanded food offerings make the 2025 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Race Weekend in Schenley Park an experience for every palate—come for the cars, stay for the flavors.
