After our successful first event in 2024, the Grand Prix Garden Party at Phipps will continue to grow in 2025.
This year, we will expand the Garden Party to include a curated display of concours-quality cars on the front lawn of the Conservatory and guests can expect to experience a select representation of cars from Lotus and Miata, our Marque of the Year and Spotlight cars, respectively, and many other special automobiles.
This Garden Party will feature passed hors d’oeuvres, palate-pleasing food stations, wine, beer and bar cocktails all served under tents and throughout one of the nation’s oldest and largest Victorian greenhouses. It promises to be an elegant evening in the Tropical Forest, the Special Events Center, Parterre de Broderie, and the Outdoor Garden. Phipps has collaborative exhibits mixing flower arrangements with internationally renowned glass artists, including Dale Chihuly and Hans Godo Fräbel. The greenhouses also feature Grecian urns, Japanese lanterns and stunning glass chandeliers.
Because the Conservatory will be open to the public until the party is set up, we cannot admit guests inside the building until 6:30 pm.
Car Show
Every PVGP event features amazing cars, and the Garden Party will be no exception. In addition to our curated display cars, there will be special parking on Schenley Drive for select fine automobiles that our guests will surely arrive in. Guests not arriving in show cars are kindly requested to park on Flagstaff. There is no fee for parking.
The inaugural Garden Party at Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in 2024 was so well received that plans are underway to host it again in 2025 on Thursday night, July 17.
