Sport a Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix License Plate Featuring our New Logo!

Take your support for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix to the road with an official PVGP Pennsylvania license plate. Replace your standard Pennsylvania plate with a fully legal specialty plate and proudly display your connection to one of the nation’s premier vintage motorsport events and its charitable mission.

The PVGP plate was the vision of longtime volunteer Scott Rupert, who worked with PennDOT more than 20 years ago to create this unique program. Since then, it has generated thousands of dollars for our charities while serving as a rolling ambassador for the Grand Prix across Pennsylvania and beyond.

The plates have recently been updated with Pennsylvania’s new license plate design. For just $75, you can receive an assigned four-digit PVGP plate number. Want something more personal? Create your own custom vanity plate for $200.

Both options are available through the PVGP and must be ordered directly from us. It’s a simple way to support our mission, promote the event, and carry a piece of the Grand Prix with you wherever the road leads.

FAQ

Q. What vehicles are eligible for the plate?
A. Requests for PVGP Specialty Registration Plate are restricted to currently-registered passenger vehicles, motor homes or light trucks (less than 9,000 lbs.).
