We would not get off the starting line without our volunteers, they are the driving force behind the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. On Saturday night of each race weekend, we thank them with a trackside party. Complete with cold Helltown Beer and live entertainment are provided on both weekends.
Saturday, July 15, 2023 – Pitt Race
Held inside the Conference Center at the top of the hill at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in conjunction with the Driver party. Free beer and dinner for all volunteers!
The party starts at 5:00 PM or roughly 15 minutes after our races are completed and our volunteers can get to the Conference Center. We welcome them with cold Helltown Beer and a buffet dinner served starting at 6:00 pm.
Moses and the Trash Bandits will perform live. They are a popular rock / neo-classic / progressive band from Slippery Rock.
Saturday, July 22, 2023 – Schenley Park
Each year we throw a party in the park for our volunteers and drivers. Soon after the last checkered flag of the day is dropped we open the taps of cold Helltown Beer and follow that up with a buffet dinner. The tent is located down at the Start/Finish Line. All PVGP volunteers are welcome.
The Polkamaniacs are providing our entertainment at Schenley Park. They are a wild mix of Polka, Rockabilly, Punk, Klezmer, Ska, Country and Comedy. It’s a King-sized Plaidtastic stage show that no audience can resist.
