Lotus Legacy: Win This One-of-a-Kind Tribute Sculpture (Valued at $20,000)

This remarkable piece made its debut at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix’s Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala on Friday, July 11, 2025. Guests were captivated as it was unveiled for the very first time, with many taking the opportunity to admire the precision, artistry, and craftsmanship up close.

Bidding opened at $5,000 and quickly escalated to $6,000, then to $7,000. Now, you have the chance to jump in and claim it for yourself—or let the high bidder from gala night take it home.

A One-of-One Masterwork by Z9 Machining Crafted by Pittsburgh’s own Z9 Machining, this sculptural tribute to the legendary 1967 Lotus 49 Cosworth was machined from a solid 13-pound billet of aluminum.

This custom-built tribute to the 1967 Lotus 49 Cosworth was unveiled at our Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala and immediately turned heads.

Every aerodynamic curve and mechanical detail — from the engine to the suspension — was precisely machined on Five Axis CNC or additively manufactured using precision stereo lithography, then assembled on a custom British Racing Green acrylic base.

With just over 200 hours of design and machining time, this is the only sculpture of its kind in the world. Impossible to duplicate, a custom order like this would exceed $20,000.
