It’s time to celebrate our successful 43rd PVGP and present the check to our charities at our annual Victory Lap Party. We will recognize our sponsors and car clubs and award Checkered Flags to outstanding volunteers and partners. The check presentation returns to the Doubletree Hotel in Cranberry. Our charity ambassadors will be on hand to accept the year-end PVGP donation. Come early—an open bar and appetizers will be set up outside the ballroom starting at 6:00 pm.

Checkered Flags

Our 2024 PVGP Checkered Flag winners are shown above. The Checkered Flag Award has become a cherished PVGP tradition, honoring the dedication and passion that drive our event’s success.

Since its introduction in 2009, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association has recognized 152 outstanding volunteers and partners with embroidered checkered flags—symbols of extraordinary commitment to our mission. This year, more than a dozen new recipients will join that distinguished group during our Victory Lap celebration on December 3. See who takes the flag in 2025!

Sponsors & Partners

Our incredibly generous group of sponsors and partners makes this event possible. That night, our Partners and Sponsors will be recognized with framed posters and plaques.

Car Club Partners

Our car club partners manage and support the International Car Show at Schenley Park, as well as all of our Race Week shows. Here is a list of the participating clubs.

RSVP

The ballroom holds 400 people, so we invite volunteers, car clubs and sponsors to join us. If you are a fan or interested in getting involved, please email the PVGP to let us know you plan to attend and the number of people in your group.

About the PVGP

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix stands as the nation’s only vintage street race and ranks among the most significant vintage racing events in the world. Spanning 10 action-packed days, it features two thrilling race weekends alongside car shows, parties, parades, and motorsport events. Since its founding in 1983, the PVGP has been driven by its mission: ‘To stage a world-class vintage automotive race to raise funds to provide residential care, treatment, and support for individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities in western Pennsylvania.’

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is honored to be a finalist for the prestigious International Historic Motoring Awards’ Motorsport Event of 2025. Sharing this recognition with some of the most iconic events in the industry—The Silverstone Festival, Le Mans Classic and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.—highlights PVGP’s growing global impact and enduring legacy.
