PVGP Supercar Sweepstakes
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix launched a Supercar Sweepstakes in 2023 with a 70th Anniversary Z06. That was followed the next year with another Z06. Both Corvettes were from North Star Chevrolet and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for our PVGP charities.

Gulf Oil – Pittsburgh Connection
Pittsburgh was the headquarters for Gulf Oil, a major player in GT40 racing history. Gulf Oil’s Executive Vice President Grady Davis sponsored the GT40 racing team with JW Automotive Engineering in the 1960s. The famous number 6 GT40, bearing chassis 1075, achieved back-to-back Le Mans wins in 1968 and 1969, clad in the iconic Gulf Oil blue and orange race livery.
