11 days of races, car shows, parades and parties have drawn to a close on the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, presented by the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Foundation.. It was a wonderful event with many highlights. Stay tuned for details and photos. Many thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, racers, car show participants, the City of Pittsburgh and to all of our fans who came out to participate and watch!
Shelby and Mustang Marque
The combined Shelby American Automobile Club and Team Shelby convention filled the track and the paddock at Pitt Race on our first weekend. Great racing all weekend! As the week progressed more and more Mustangs joined the Marque and we ended up with 150 pony cars at Schenley Park on the second weekend.
“Cortile Della Corsa” Alfa Romeo Convention
This year’s Cortile was bigger than ever as we welcomed the 2019 Alfa Romeo Owner’s Club Convention and 97 Alfas from all over the US to our hugely successful Italian car show. Those Alfas were joined by 48 other Ferraris, Fiats, Lamborghinis, Panteras and Maseratis that made for a stunning lineup. We were honored with the return of beautifully restored red 1953 Alfa Romeo 6C 3000 CM that crashed at the 1984 PVGP. The Cortile always draws a huge crowd and this year was no exception!
