2025 PVGP Sewickley Stampede

Get ready for the Sewickley Stampede and RoundUp. It’s a street block party with race and exotic cars. Join us for an exclusive RoundUp at The Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina hosted by Robin Fernandez that will have you “Hootin’ and Hollerin’” for more.

The night begins with a RevLimiting, Rip Roarin’ Stampede Parade of Cars through the downtown business district of Sewickley, followed by the ‘Wrangling and Staging’ of cars in front of the hotel.

Grab your best Pardner and come out to take in all the magnificent cars on the street, or purchase admission to the exclusive private party in The Hotel, featuring a light food menu, cash bar, and live music.

The party begins at 6:00 PM at the Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina at 509 Beaver Street in Sewickley. Robin Fernandez is working on a special menu. Like all Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix events, the proceeds benefit individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Live Music by the Bricks
Entertainment provided by “The Bricks”, a very popular acoustic trio vocal band, featuring songs by America, The Eagles, CSNY, The Band, Van Morrison, just to name a few.

Sewickley

The PVGP is very excited to bring our Motorsport Festival to Sewickley. When it comes to charm, Sewickley has it, from its bustling “village” of a business district to a range of terrific amenities, all within walking distance. Situated 11 miles northeast of downtown, on the Ohio River, this quaint borough of tree-lined streets with sidewalks is bordered by the neighboring boroughs of Edgeworth, Glen Osborne, and, on the hill overlooking town, Sewickley Heights.

History

Get ready to celebrate the spirit of the PVGP Tune-Up Party — and give a huge shoutout to the visionaries behind it all: Dotti and John Bechtol, and Rosemary and Joe Mendel! Back in 2006, they kicked off the very first Tune-Up at Bossa Nova restaurant downtown, gathering 75 guests and showcasing a dozen jaw-dropping cars. What started as a small, exclusive evening has shifted into a must-attend event, featuring hundreds of incredible vehicles, over 500 passionate participants, and an electric atmosphere of car lovers and spectators.

Now, the Bechtols and Mendels — alongside their longtime friend Robin Fernandez, the mastermind behind Bossa Nova and Metropol — are bringing the magic full circle. With Robin’s brand-new venue, The Hotel & Rosa’s Cantina in Sewickley, they’re creating a throwback to the original vibe: an intimate, unforgettable night filled with spectacular cars, great company, and all the charm that made the first Tune-Up so special.

The Hotel & Rosa’s Cantina

Celebrate American History at the most legendary place in town, the Hotel & Rosa’s Cantina. With a hospitality career spanning nearly seven decades, restaurateur Robin Fernandez’s last rodeo is a tasteful nod to the American West.

From savory homemade soups to specially blended brisket burgers and fresh salads, the Hotel treats customers to the American comfort food we’ve all come to know and love. The Hotel offers a little taste of Americana in a comfortable western setting. At the same time, our outdoor dining area, Rosa’s Cantina Kitchen, serves up a host of Tex-Mex favorites, including quesadillas, tacos, and fajitas. You are invited to this saloon setting for fresh and enjoyable comfort food, hand-crafted cocktails, and a wonderful selection of beers, bourbons, and tequila.

Giddy up!
