Invitational Car Display at the Terminal in the Strip

June 2025 To Be Determined 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

The PVGP and the Terminal will host a distinct car show in front of the Terminal Building on Smallman Street between 16th and 18th Streets. This promises to be a special display of race and exotic cars, including PVGP race cars. “Markets at the Terminal” takes place from 10 AM – 2 PM. Shop from local vendors outside the 18th Street Passageway while enjoying music by DJ Breis Gordan.

Kick-Off Rallye at Dual Devils Garage

Sunday, July 6, 2025 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

If you like cars and country roads, this is a great way to spend a summer Sunday and kick off the Grand Prix. The Rallye is a driving tour and a scavenger hunt rolled into one. This is a casual and fun event with no experience required. Your entry includes participation in the Rallye for driver and navigator. Starting and concluding in Houston, PA at Dual Devils Garage with awards and a deluxe cookout dinner with a great seasonal rotation of 17 Helltown Taproom craft beers. Tour the upstairs car collection and check out specialty cars for sale in their showroom.

Black Tie & Tailpipes Gala

Friday, July 11, 2025  7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

This is a must for any auto enthusiast who enjoys shiny cars, fine dining and great company. In addition to being one of the city’s best summer parties, it is also a significant fundraiser for our charities. We are excited to take the Gala to the Heinz History Center. Details to follow.

Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex

July 10- 13, 2025, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

If you’re into racing and the thunderous roar of historic cars and ground pounders on a 2.8-mile purpose-built Pittsburgh International Race Complex track, this is the weekend for you! The Historics have developed into one of our most popular events. Admission is $25 per day online and $30 at the gate; kids under 12 are free. Special trackside parking on Spectator Hill and by the Water Tower.

Walnut Street Invitational

Monday, July 14, 2025  – 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Experience the unique character of 125 rare, classic and exotic cars. Take in the sights and sounds of this charming event nestled on Walnut Street in Shadyside’s exclusive shopping district. Cars by invitation only, the event is free to spectators.

Waterfront Car Cruise

Join us for a vast car show at the Waterfront Shopping Center in Homestead! Check out classic and modern vehicles from all makes and years. Enjoy a day of automotive fun and fellowship with food, music, vendors, and giveaways. Bring your friends and family. $10 charity donation per car.

Sewickley Stampede & Roundup

Tuesday, July 15, 2025 – 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

This event debuted to much fanfare and is now a staple of our Race Week. The night begins with a “Rev Limiting”, “Rip Roaring” Stampede of Cars through the downtown business district of Sewickley at 5:30, followed by the “Wrangling and Staging” of race cars, vintage cars and exotics in front of The Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina. Grab your best “Pardner” and come out to look at the cars on the street, or purchase admission to the exclusive private party in The Hotel, featuring a light food menu, cash bar and live music.

Downtown Car Display

Wednesday, July 16, 2025  – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

This show is a great way to have a power lunch in downtown Pittsburgh. You will see a preview of cars on the show field of the upcoming International Car Show in Schenley Park. The shows are staged at PPG Place and Market Square. The cost is $15 to participate, with proceeds benefiting our charities.

Tune-Up Party

Wednesday, July 16, 2025  – 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The Grand Prix’s Tune-Up Party and Automotive Showcase has been a popular event since it was created in 2006. The party shifted gears and moved to its new home at the Town Square at the SouthSide Works and is back for an encore. Hundreds of cars will gather for a fabulous car show, including race cars and exotics, for this exciting street festival in Town Square, which is anchored by Shop 412 and the Cheesecake Factory. $50 to get into the Car Showcase and includes 2 drink coupons.

Countryside Tour

Thursday, July 17, 2025 – 10:00 am– 3:00 pm

You can tour the Laurel Highlands with us if you have a vintage car from 1983 or earlier. The route changes each year. We are excited to announce that the tour will return to Jamison Farm for an incredible lunch and continue through the southwestern Pennsylvania countryside. The cost is $85 per car.

Grand Prix Garden Party at Phipps

Thursday, July 17, 2025 – 6:30 pm– 10:30 pm

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix planted the seeds for a fabulous new event in Schenley Park at the Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens – right alongside the race track. Plans are underway to host it in 2025. The Garden Party will feature hors d’oeuvres, palate-pleasing food stations, wine, Helltown Beer and bar cocktails throughout one of the nation’s oldest and largest Victorian greenhouses. It promises to be an elegant and entertaining evening.

“Evening of Speed” – Driver & VIP Reception

In 2024 The traditional Friday night Driver Reception and Parade moved into Oakland as our racers circled the track, past Phipps and down to the reception at the Frick Fine Arts Library in Schenley Plaza. Plans are underway for 2025, location and details to follow

Schenley Park Car Show and Race Qualifying

Saturday, July 19, 2025

International Car Show 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Join us for a day full of family-friendly automobile-themed activities at the Bob O’Connor Golf Course in Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park. Thousands of classic, antique and exotic vehicles fill the golf course for our International Car Show. If speed is more your thing, watch more than 100 vintage racers compete on the track all day to qualify for Sunday’s featured races. During the day, visit the main stage, grab a snack at our food courtyard or shop at our Vendor Village. Register your car for the weekend International Car Show. Charity donation for spectators aged 12 and over is only $10 for the weekend.

Vintage Races 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Our vintage racers will be on track all day. Each race group will run in practice sessions starting at 8:30 am. At noon, racers with passenger seats come up to the VIP Tent at turn 14 and for $50 you can experience a real lap of the track. The track goes hot again at 1:00 with all groups racing in qualifying sessions.

Schenley Park Race Day

International Car Show 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Our Motorsport Festival roars to a close as we continue our races and car shows all day long at the Bob O’Connor Golf Course in Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park. Most of the classic, antique, and exotic vehicles that appeared on Saturday return for Race Day at the weekend International Car Show. Grab lunch at our food courtyard or shop Vendor Village. The International Car Show entry fee is $50 per show car for the weekend. Charity donations for spectators aged 12 and over are only $10 for the weekend.

Vintage Races 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
At 8:30 a.m., racers come out for 20-minute warm-up sessions in preparation for the featured afternoon races. At 11:00, we begin the Opening Ceremonies with Parade laps by Patron Parkers.
The afternoon races start at noon with featured races for each group, with top finishers recognized in the Helltown Brewing Winner’s Circle.

Bentley Pittsburgh Invitational

Bentley Pittsburgh has been a tremendous supporter of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Jason Moka and his team have hosted this intimate and exclusive car show to benefit the PVGP charities since 2019. This will be the seventh year that Bentley Pittsburgh has hosted this annual event.

This is an invitation only show of special cars featuring Bentley, Rolls Royce and Maserati cars of all years, but you will see plenty of Ferraris, Porsches, BMWs, and others. Bentley clears their showroom and parking lot to make room for the car show. They also provide a delicious lunch for all attendees.

5 Card Garage Tour

Join us for an exciting afternoon in your favorite car as we tour some of Pittsburgh’s coolest garages and man caves. Entrants get a playing card at each stop, and at the end of the day, the best poker hand wins! The location will be determined, and details will follow.

The Grand Tour

October 1-5, 2025

In keeping with the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix tradition of exciting and successful automotive-related events, we are announcing the ‘Grand Tour’, a new touring event starting this fall! October 1 through 5. The tour will include an exciting, informative schedule of events exploring the Ohio River Valley, shopping, meals, and other points of interest.
