The warm temperatures did not deter tens of thousands of fans from attending the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in Schenley Park. Shown above is 2019 poster artist Dan Holmes with his daughter Flynn in the Lamar VIP tent where they watched the races. photo by Paul Vladuchick.

2,500 show cars covered the fairways, including 200 Marque of the Year Shelbys and Mustangs. Nearly the same number of Alfa Romeos converged in front of the Pittsburgh Golf Club for their convention. Car owners and enthusiasts showed up in large numbers as several records were set for walk up donations.

The racingย  ran throughout the day and cars passed easily and safely through the newly configured serpentine – kudos to the City of Pittsburgh and the PVGP volunteers for coming together quickly to keep the streak at 37 consecutive years.

Car shows and races wrap up Sunday with Patron Parking, Marque of the Year Parade and the Hofbrauhaus Winners Circle races in the afternoon.
