Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala

Saturday, July 11, 2026

Our Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala opens Grand Prix Race Week in formal style! This is a must for any auto enthusiast who enjoys shiny cars, fine dining and great company. In addition to being one of the city’s best summer parties, it is also a significant fundraiser for our charity partners.

We are excited to announce that the gala will make history in 2026, as we host it at the Kamin Science Center. The PVGP will have access to the entire facility, and chair Ev Kelly Searle is already planning this special event. The gala shifts into high gear at the Kamin Science Center as the opening event for Science of Speed, an experience that dives into the physics and technology of the world’s fastest machines – with a thrilling two-story electric kart track.

Our 2025 event at the Heinz History Center was spectacular. The Senator John Heinz History Center is Pennsylvania’s largest history museum and a proud affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. As Pittsburgh’s “people museum,” the History Center preserves and interprets the history of Western Pennsylvanians through six floors of interactive exhibitions, featuring iconic artifacts such as the TV set from “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” and the world’s oldest Jeep. The Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum on the second and third floors celebrates the unsurpassed sports legacy of the City of Champions, from football to baseball and hockey to auto racing, including the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix display.

Single ticket: $299 thru the end of February

Table of 10: $2,999  thru the end of February

Starting March 1, ticket prices increase to $350 per guest and $3,250 for a table of 10. Secure your seats now and save before the clock runs out!
