The PVGP looks forward to celebrating our 43rd year in 2025 by partying SouthSide Style for our annual Tune-Up as we prepare for the races and car show just a few days later. Sponsored by Merrill, A Bank of America Company.

The Grand Prix’s Tune-Up Party has been a popular Race Week event since it was created in 2006. It debuted at Bossa Nova downtown on 6th Street and grew so large that it spread across the river to the Roberto Clemente Bridge and PNC Park, then to Heinz Field. The party shifted gears and moved to the SouthSide Works in 2021, which was a huge success. Hundreds of cars will gather for a fabulous car show, including race cars, exotics, antiques and show cars for this exciting street festival in the streets surrounding SHOP 412 and the SouthSide Works Town Square. Many thanks to Merrill, Bank of America and Porsche Pittsburgh for their tremendous support!

Cost & Registration

Participation in this year’s Tune-Up Party is still just $50. You get a reserved parking spot within the Automotive Showcase on the streets of the SouthSide Works, a goody bag, a dash card, and a Race Program. Also included are two drink coupons for the driver, redeemable at one of the drink stations. You can also register any guests for $20 each to receive two complimentary drink coupons. There is no host restaurant, so you can grab a bite at any local restaurant, including the Cheesecake Factory and the Hofbräuhaus. The PVGP will also have food and drink trucks available.

Registration can only be done through the Vivenu online portal below. There is no mail-in option. After registering and paying online, you must bring a printed receipt or show it on your mobile device to gain entry. Your receipt will contain a QR code scanned upon entry to facilitate a quick and touchless process. We strongly encourage you to pre-register now – the event typically sells out, and no day-of entries are available.
