The PVGP is gearing up for our Kick-Off Rallye at Dual Devils Garage again this year. Our Rallyemaster is planning a route through the backroads of Washington County.

Our Kick-Off Rallye is truly the kick-off event of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, as it occurs one week before our Race Week. The competition consists of a combined Monte Carlo/Gimmick rally requiring no prior experience.  You can compete in any vehicle you like – any year, any make – no restrictions. We welcome unique and different vehicles and expect many MINIs and Subarus to join us this year.

Budd Baer Subaru joins as our Kick-Off Rallye as a Sponsor.

Budd Baer Subaru has a simple goal: to help you find a vehicle that suits your needs. Whether you are looking for the sporty WRX or a Crosstrek, look for a special display from Budd Baer Subaru at Dual Devils Garage.

Subaru Motorsports USA tests and proves Subaru vehicles’ capabilities in stage rally, rallycross, record attempts, desert racing, and more. Since 2001 the Subaru Rally Team has won over 100 rally and rallycross events, 16 of the last 18 U.S. national rally championships, and team championships in rallycross in 2019 and 2021.

2023 PVGP Kick-Off Rallye

Any car enthusiast can register for a fun but competitive mystery course to test your driving, navigational and trivia skills through the Pittsburgh countryside. Paul MacIntyre and Chuck Larouere are already planning some new twists for this year.

What is a Rallye?

You don’t have to be a racer or have experience in a rally competition to enjoy our Kick-Off Rallye. Each year it helps us kick off the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Any car enthusiast can register to participate in a fun, but competitive, mystery course that will test your driving, navigational and trivia skills through the Pittsburgh countryside. Paul MacIntyre and Chuck Larouere are already planning some new twists for this year.

Chuck Larouere returned as Rallyemaster in 2021 and brought the latest technology with him. We utilized Richta Rally so all competitors can download the app for free and it automatically acknowledges as you pass the electronic checkpoints. No volunteers are required on the course and it’s all touchless! You will know your score and standing while you drive! Now everyone can enjoy participating in the rally, as no checkpoints crews are required. Just like magic!
