The 2025 Panoz Reunion at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix celebrates the rich Panoz history, bringing together Danny Panoz, the drivers, team members, and cars that are a living, vibrant part of this history. It will showcase the rich history of the Panoz cars and include a chance to see these significant cars on track and up close.  It will be a Panoz-packed weekend of shows, racing, track laps, and dinners commemorating the vehicles and people contributing to American and international motorsports.

Founded by Dan Panoz in 1989, Panoz manufactures hand-crafted, custom American sports cars and transformation racing machines. Don Panoz took the brand to the race track in 1997 to expand the brand and promote his son’s cars. They captured the Manufacturers Championship, class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 12 Hours of Sebring, and podium finishes at the Petit Le Mans. Panoz earned a significant place in racing history.

The Reunion will encompass all aspects of Panoz’s history, cars, and drivers. In addition to their dominance on the track, Panoz went on to create the American LeMans Series and the Petit LeMans; owned and managed the iconic motorsports venues of Road Atlanta, Sebring International, and Mosport; and created the Panoz Racing School and Series. These world-renowned tracks, events and school programs introduced many to wheel-to-wheel racing, while the Panoz companies produced innovative high-performance race and specialty cars.

In addition to a special paddock display and show, there will be an owners’ and enthusiasts dinner, where PVGP Historics Grand Marshal Dan Panoz will give remarks and share some of his favorite Panoz stories with drivers and team members who made it happen. It will be a memorable event not to be missed.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is host to a 10-day motorsports festival. The PVGP Historics kick off the celebration at Pittsburgh International Raceway, a fantastic 2.8-mile track with modern facilities, generous runoff, acres of paved paddock, and 110 feet of elevation change each lap. This will be our Reunion venue. Panoz Reunion Vintage Race entries will have practice and qualifying sessions on Friday and Saturday, with the Reunion Race running on Sunday. In addition to race entries, there will be opportunities for track laps, charity rides, a popular vote car show, autocross and rally.  The host hotel will be the DoubleTree Hotel in Cranberry.

The Panoz name is synonymous with quality and performance, with their cars winning some of the most prestigious races in the world, including the Sebring 12-hour endurance race and the 24 Hours of Le Mans GT2 class. Panoz cars have competed in various forms of motorsport, including the American Le Mans Series, United Sportscar Championship, Rolex Sports Car Series, FIA Sportscar Championship, and IMSA GT Championship.

 

PANOZ REUNION HIGHLIGHTS

Fallingwater
The Reunion features a Friday Road Rallye to Frank Lloyd’s famous Fallingwater, a National Historic Landmark and a site inscribed on the World Heritage List, is open for the 61st tour season with a variety of experiences for visitors to gain insights into Wright’s organic architecture and design philosophy, and discover the beauty of Fallingwater and its natural landscape. Riverboat Cruise
The Panoz Reunion invites you and your guests to join us for a Pittsburgh riverboat dinner cruise on Friday night! Framed by three rivers – the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela – where Lewis & Clark launched their expedition of the American West in 1803, we will enjoy a wonderful private riverboat tour, with many beautiful sights and landmarks. The cruise will transport passengers along all three rivers, entertaining them with the history of one of America’s most significant industrial cities, fun facts, warm company, a full-service cash bar, dinner, engaging conversation, and a chance to enjoy the evening lights and skyline of Pittsburgh.

Host Hotel – Doubletree
The Doubletree Hotel by Hilton is located at the intersection of 1-79 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 15 minutes from the track and 25 minutes from Pittsburgh.  Relax in the indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, or fitness center. Pittsburgh International Race Complex
Pitt Race is a world-class racing and entertainment complex in Wampum, PA. Offering sports car races, motorcycle races, autocross, performance driver training, and world-class karting events. They also host corporate events and provide banquet facilities and personal garages. Pitt Race is dedicated to creating a fun, educational, and competitive experience for all auto enthusiasts and has been a partner with the PVGP since 2004. DETAILS

 

PANOZ REUNION EVENT PACKAGES

There are three categories for participating in the Panoz Reunion. Each package is all-inclusive. Please note that the Racer Package refers to those drivers and cars that will be racing wheel to wheel on the track all weekend. Track Package refers to Panoz cars that desire to go on track in speed-controlled sessions on Friday and Saturday. Touring refers to Panoz cars attending the Fallingwater Rally and Tour on Friday.

Panoz Racer Package – Driver $875
Please note that the Panoz Racer Package refers to those racers and cars racing wheel to wheel on the track. Drivers must have a current competition license and medical, and the car must conform to the PVGP Rules & Regulations and Driver Policy. Visit the Historics Racer Overview. There will be an area by the Reunion to park your transporters and trailers. You can also park and RV but the hook-ups are all sold out.

Should you wish to register a Guest to attend the Panoz Reunion, select the Track Package – Guest option below. Upon completion and payment for your guest registration, proceed to the PVGP Pitt Race MSR registration portal to submit your registration to race.

The Panoz Reunion event is being held in conjunction with the 43rd Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, running on July 11-20, 2025. The PVGP is a 501 (c) (3) charity that has supported individuals and families afflicted with autism and developmental disabilities for over 40 years. In 2024, the PVGP was nominated for the Motorsports Event of the Year by the International Historic Motoring Awards.  Our festival is possible thanks to the dedication of over 1,000 volunteers, the 100,000+ participants and spectators, and our racers and car enthusiasts who make this event happen. The festival culminates with the PVGP races through the streets of Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, now America’s longest-running vintage street race. The PVGP will host the inaugural Panther Hollow Hillclimb.
