Schenley Park Race Weekend
July 23/24, 2022

This signature event of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix should be on your bucket list. Spectators browse the 3,000 vehicle car show and watch the vintage racing from the Bob O’Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park. The races are reminiscent of the sports car road racing that started back in the 40’s and 50’s at Watkins Glen and Elkhart Lake. The PVGP in Schenley Park remains the nation’s only vintage race held on city streets.

The races start at 8:30 am each day and run until approximately 5:00 pm. See Race Schedule. Car Show participants can enter the show grounds beginning at 9:30 am. To register your car for the International Car Show please visit our Registration Home.

The PVGP races through Schenley Park are considered by many drivers to be the most challenging race course worldwide. With 22 turns, 11 elevation changes, approximately 100 telephone poles, an expanse of stone wall and numerous manhole covers, it’s no wonder the 2.33-mile circuit tests driving skills and entertains crowds.

The best place to watch the races is from the 456 acre Bob O’Connor Golf Course where the Grand Prix stages its International Car Show. There are a hundred sponsor and car club tents, a Vendor Village along with food and refreshments. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix was established in 1983 as a charity event and always will be. In order to continue making a significant donation to our charity partners, we are now requesting a $5 donation from spectators that walk into the Race Weekend in Schenley Park. Anybody entering in a vehicle as a car show participant or sponsor will be given a wristband for the weekend at no cost.

Register and pay by clicking the blue box below and enter the event through the express lane by showing your emailed printed receipt or the barcode on your phone.
