General Info & FAQ – MOTUL Hillclimb
Paddock
The hillclimb paddock will be on Schenley Drive in front of Phipps Conservatory. Schenley Drive is a public road, and the PVGP does not take control and close the road until 10:00 a.m. Friday morning, July 18. No PVGP security is provided until Friday night. Do not begin unloading before 10:00 a.m. without PVGP supervision.
Drivers should email Jim Locke if they have any questions about paddock arrangements. We can only accommodate 75 cars, but it requires careful planning and is helpful if we know of any special needs beforehand.
- The paddock is located on Schenley Drive in front of Phipps Conservatory. The area is open to the public, so take appropriate precautions for safety and security.
- PVGP will carefully manage the layout of the paddock. Upon arrival, you will be directed to a spot.
- Being a city park, there are no power, water, or sanitation hookups or dumpsites provided.
- No open fires are allowed in the paddock at any time.
- No overnight camping or sleeping is permitted. There are several hotels within a one-mile radius.
- Parking in the paddock is limited and tight. The shorter your rig’s overall length, the more room there will be for you and your fellow competitors to park—plan for potentially being parked without your trailer close by.
- Each race car entered in the event is allowed one(1) support vehicle to be driven in and out of the paddock on Saturday and Sunday – you will be given one pass to park on Flagstaff Hill. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Parking for additional vehicles outside the paddock is limited, and it is the owner’s responsibility to arrange suitable parking.
Refund Policy
If you notify the Event Chairman or Registrar before your tires hit the track on Saturday morning, your hillclimb entry will be fully refunded.
