There is quite a bit of construction taking place around the city. Here are the road closures for the July 21-23 weekend. This shows the roads that will be closed from 6:00 PM July 21 through 8:00 PM July 23.
Planned Road Closings for 2023:
- The ramp from Blvd. of the Allies/Panther Hollow Road to Anderson playground/panther hollow bridge will be closed from 6:00 pm Friday, July 22 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 24. The Anderson Bridge closed for repairs in February 2023 and will remain closed until long after our event.
- Panther Hollow Road from Anderson playground to Schenley Cafe & Visitor Center from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Schenley Drive from Frew Street to Schenley Cafe & Visitor Center. Restricted access for parking only from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Schenley Drive from Schenley Cafe & Visitor Center to Tech Street from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- West Circuit Road from Schenley Drive to Darlington Road from 6:00 pm Wednesday, July 19 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Serpentine Drive from East Circuit Road to Bartlett Street from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Bartlett Street from park entrance to Panther Hollow Road/Blvd. of the allies from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 am Sunday, July 23.
- Hobart Street from the park entrance to beacon street from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Prospect Drive at Hobart Street from 8:00 am Friday, July 21 until 7:00 Sunday, July 23.
- Blvd of the Allies from Overlook Drive to Hobart Street from 6:00 pm Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Hobart Street from Bartlett Street to Beacon Street from 6:00 pm Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Beacon Street from the park entrance to Hobart Street from 6:00 pm Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Greenfield Road from Overlook Drive to Bartlett Street From 6:00 pm Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Greenfield Road toward Blvd. of the Allies closed at Overlook from 6:00 pm Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
- Blvd of the Allies lane restriction from Charles Anderson Bridge to Overlook Drive – left lane closed from 6:00 pm Friday, July 21 until 7:00 pm Sunday, July 23.
Please note that the Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge, a critical link between Oakland, Squirrel Hill and Greenfield, has been closed to vehicular traffic effective immediately for repairs. The span will be closed throughout the 2023 PVGP.

Spectator Parking
The construction at Carnegie Mellon University has modified Frew Street into a One Way Street downhill toward Phipps. The PVGP will flip that direction starting at 7:00 am Saturday, July 22 and ending at 8:00 PM Sunday, July 23. This will be an exclusive lane for PVGP Shuttle Buses – not public traffic will be permitted. See below map for detours and the best way to get to Flagstaff Hill. Cost is $30 per car per day and includes up to 4 entry wristbands.
