Ferrari is our 2023 Marque of the year and the cars of Maranello, Italy will be showcased at all of our Race Week car shows and events. The one place they have been missing is on the track, so we are inviting Ferrari racers and Ferrari Challenge competitors to come race with us at the PVGP Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex on the July 14-16 weekend.
Race prepared Ferrari’s from 2003 and earlier are now eligible to race in our redefined Modern Historics Group. Certain exceptions will be made for later model Ferraris and continuation models – please contact PVGP Competition Director Joe Teplitz to inquire. Ferraris must be period correct with safety equipment – see PVGP Rules & Regulations. Maximum displacement 5.7L.
If enough Ferrari enter this year we will create a dedicated Ferrari Marque Race. This could also become a regular group moving forward!
Ferrari Challenge
The Ferrari Challenge is the most renowned single-marque championship, that has been bringing together dream cars and esteemed clients on the world’s most picturesque tracks since 1993. A competition for those who, not satisfied with just driving their Ferraris on the road, feel the urge to compete in top-level sprint races. The Ferrari Challenge is divided into three continental series: Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific series, which celebrated its inaugural season in 2011.
