January 21, 2023 – The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix announces a partnership with EventConnect as our hotel partner portal. This relationship ensures that PVGP attendees, car club partners, sponsors and race teams that take part in the 10 day PVGP Motorsport Festival in July have the best accommodations at the lowest rates while at the same time helping to raise charitable funds.
During the PVGP’s July 21-23 Schenley Park Race Weekend at least 20% of the visitors are from out-of-town and staying in local lodging. On average, EventConnect will save them 24% on the lodging rates.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix has been guaranteed the best group rate that is available. “As a result you are not going to get a better rate at our partner hotels on your own!” Stated Bernard Martin, Director of Communications at the PVGP. “That said, Individuals may find a better “deal’ but generally those prices will not include the add-ons such as parking, valet, etc that are most often part of the group package rate negotiated by the PVGP.” He added.

About the PVGP
Begun in 1983, the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Motorsport Festival features two weekends of racing action. The first weekend is the PVGP Historics at Pitt Race. The second weekend is racing on a 2.33-mile road course set on the streets of Schenley Park. Between the race weekends there are car shows, parties, car shows road rallies, and more. The PVGP is a volunteer driven 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with 1,200 volunteers. Our mission is to provide residential care, treatment and support for people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities. Since 1983, we have donated $6.4 million to Autism-Pittsburgh and Merakey Allegheny Valley School.
