The nations’ largest annual celebration of all things BMW pulls into the 2018 PVGP

When Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix named BMW as its 2018 Marque of the Year, BMW, in conjunction with the BMW CCA, agreed that no other car event in the United States made more sense to hold their 49th Annual O’Fest.

BMW Annual Oktoberfest – July 6-15

This is the largest annual celebration of all things BMWs with 1,000 enthusiasts and hundreds of BMWs expected throughout the festival week. It is the ultimate BMW motorsport family reunion, including parties, banquets, vendors, track days, autocrosses, rallies, a concours, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW 2002 and more!

There will be something for every BMW enthusiast. The Historics at Pittsburgh International Race Complex on July 6-8 will have two BMW Race Groups with 100 Bimmers expected on track. O’Fest participants will return to Pitt Race throughout the week for track events, an autocross, car control clinics and other events.  O’Fest will also feature a TSD rally, gymkhana, driving tours, receptions and banquets. If that’s not enough, participants will also join the Grand Prix during the week for multiple car shows, a concours, a Tune-Up Party and a Jet Center Party before convening at Schenley Park for Race Weekend on July 14-15 where 500 owners will park trackside to watch BMWs participate in the vintage races and celebrate.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, Presented by the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Foundation, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to host an annual world-class vintage automotive event to raise funds for individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is one of the nation’s premier automotive events with 250,000 attendees. The 2018 Race Week runs July 6-15, culminating with the vintage races through the streets of Pittsburgh and car shows at Schenley Park on July 14-15.
